New Listing in Tacoma’s North End

3125 N Mullen St. Tacoma, WA 98407

Welcome to this North End Tacoma charmer! I was so happy when my friend Karie reached out to me about selling her childhood home. Her parents were only the second owners of this home when they bought it in 1958, ten years after it had been built.

I met Karie and her husband Mike several years ago at a yoga class I was teaching. I had been hired to start a yoga program at a gym (before I had found Vie), which was perfect for me as I have a passion for combining fitness and yoga. I thoroughly enjoyed teaching at that gym, and one of the best parts was that I got to know Karie and Mike, some of the most devoted yoga students I have ever had the pleasure of teaching. I was definitely saddened when the yoga program came to an end, but am grateful for the friendships I made.

A few years later, Karie’s neighbor recommended my partner Alex’s company (Wilder Outdoor Spaces), to have them rebuild her porch. They hit it off with Alex, and hired him to do some projects on their house. Karie then reached out to me to sell her childhood home. She and her family have meticulously maintained this property, and the amount of love and attention that has gone into it is evident. The landscaping was done by a landscaping architect in the 80’s and Karie still has the designs along with a full list of every plant on the property.

While this family is sad to let go of this beautiful Tacoma home, they know that it is ready for it’s new owner. To prepare for the sale, they replaced the roof, painted the outside of the home and garage, ripped out the carpet on the main floor and refinished the stunning hardwoods. My favorite aspects of this house are the ample amount of storage at every turn, the abundance of natural lighting, and well as the bathroom upstairs. Call or text me today to schedule a walk through!
